McGuire proudly introduces The Walnut Bedroom Collection, a timeless and dramatic collection that includes 4 distinct bedroom pieces: bed, nightstand, chiffonier, and 6 drawer dresser. Working with a mix of rattan, wood and antique bronze, McGuire has created a collection with a peaceful balance of texture and proportion.

The true inspiration for this collection came from a design exploration of McGuire's touchstone materials: rattan and rawhide. First executed as the door handles to the NY flagship showroom, the antique brass 'poles' were woven with brass 'rawhide' as a signature articulation of design, materials and craftsmanship. The texture of the rattan and binding translates beautifully into a drawer pull, embellishing the furniture with a jewelry-like quality.

The goal of the in-house designers was to work creatively with texture and pattern while simplifying one's surroundings, creating an escape from the visual noise that pervades our lives. The privacy panels of the woven rattan headboard, to strength of the walnut frame, the substantial drawer glides and ample storage allow one to clear the clutter and the antique brass finish is a reminder that there is something precious about these pieces without detracting from the sanctity of the space.
